This course is designed to give students knowledge and skills to prepare them to study within the art and design sector. Modules include three stages. Exploratory stage - information and research in art and design; recording and responding in art and design; media experimentation in art and design; pathway stage - information and interpretation in art and design; personal experimental studies in art and design; extended media development in art and design; confirmatory stage - integrating theory and practice in art and design; personal confirmatory study in art and design.
Students should be aged between 16 to 18 years and they should have a grade C in English.
