• undertaking and understanding woodland management.

Year two:

• principles of plant and soil science,
• archaeology history,
• environmental interpretation,
• countryside tourism and recreation,
• farm habitat, freshwater and wetland management,
• urban habitat conservation and management, and
• vertebrate pest and predator control.
