This course is designed to prepare participants for a career in modern business and management. The major areas of business administration covered are: accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, information systems and international business and participants will also have the opportunity to acquire expertise within chosen specialism’s. This course aims to provide participants with: a systematic understanding of management-related problems as well as conceptual tools for analyzing and evaluating management issues; a sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline of management, with an emphasis on the historical, political, cultural and institutional forces shaping modern business; a stimulating learning environment in which to engage with case material; the skills necessary for the development of their creative and decision-making capabilities. This course has four study routes: Business Administration (the general pathway); Business Administration with Human Resource Management (a specialist pathway); Business Administration with International Business (a specialist pathway); Business Administration with marketing (a specialist pathway).The Academic lead college for this degree is Royal Holloway. Your degree certificate will be issued by the University of London in association with Royal Holloway.
Participants need to tale the LAMB Entrance Examination. To be eligible for this participants must be at least 17 years old and either have passes in: two subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C or above) or three subjects at GCE 'A' level (with one 'A' level at not less than grade D) and must have passed GCSE/GCE 'O' level English language at grade C or above.
