This is a top-up degree for graduates with a foundation degree, HND or HNC qualification in garden design. The programme can be delivered full-time over one year, or part-time over two. There is a recognised need for experienced graduates within the garden design industry to deliver specialist knowledge and skills to specialist projects such as large commercial briefs and historic garden schemes. This course is delivered one day a week over two years and covers landscape schemes, garden restoration, innovation, contemporary design, organic design and sustainable design. The course allows students to develop the specialist techniques required to implement landscape schemes, carry out in-depth research and understand business requirements.
