By exploring the musical path from basic Country Blues to Jazz standards, you appreciate the importance of The Blues in the development of Jazz. Gain a solid foundation for improvisation, with an understanding of Jazz vocabulary and communication within a group of musicians. Building confidence through rhythm, riffs and scales, develop the skills and knowledge required to improvise, play tunes from memory and play confidently over chord sequences. Ideal preparation for the Blues Into Jazz continuing course (Level 2) and playing in a band
