This course equips participants to reflect on their practice, to act as an advocate for the rights of young children, and also helps them to understand the importance of issues of equality and diversity and their impact on young children. They will further develop skills in problem identification and analysis through carrying out a research project. It covers perspectives on Early Childhood; Research Methods for Early Childhood; Beyond the Nursery Garden; Working with Children from Birth to Three; Management and Leadership in Early Childhood; Equality and Diversity. It is also available for international participants.
Participants must have 240 HE credits from Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and have at least 3 years full-time experience of working with children aged from 0–8 years and their families.
