About this course

This course allows participants to rigorously explore Sculpture in a broader art context. The course seeks to encourage them in active and practical speculation on how far contemporary sculpture as a subject can be defined and expanded. This open minded ethos is complemented by a structured programme of Contextual Studies seminars that provides the context and subject knowledge to confidently formulate their practice in combination with regular studio tutorials and critiques of their practical work.

Additional entry requirements

Participants must possess a foundation course, National Diploma, AVCE, Advanced GNVQ or equivalent, Pass in 1 GCE A Level, Passes at GCSE level in 3 subjects (grade C or above). Participants who do not have English as a first language must show proof of IELTS level 6.0, with a minimum of 5.0 in any one paper, or equivalent.

What a waste of time

Please do not even consider taking this course. The Tutors are poor and unwilling to help their students on a academic level and personal level- in spite of telling them at the start of the course that they will do what they can. The PPD le...more
