This course covers contents that include: visual studies, basic design, plant science and soils, surveying, hard and soft materials, garden management for designers, computer aided design, planting design, garden design ideas and theory, garden design client and process, garden design sites and materials, digital landscapes, ecology and conservation, garden design site practices, construction and planting, master plan, garden design detail, garden design development, professional studies, advanced representation, history and philosophy of garden design and historic garden conservation.
Participants should have 240 UCAS points made up from A levels, preferably one in a Science based subject, or Level 3 vocational qualification. They should also have a GCSE grade C or above in English, Maths and Science.
