This course is designed to offer the opportunity of acquiring a wide range of academic knowledge and skills which are transferable to the workplace. Participants will cover modules: management and organisational behaviour, community cohesion, dissertation, contemporary debates in housing, crime, control and communities. The core modules will equip students with theoretical knowledge and with an ability to evaluate initiatives that are intended to build communities and improve relations at neighbourhood level.
Participants must have successfully gained a Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification. They will also need to demonstrate their ability to continue at this higher level of study in their English language skills.
