Established in 1998 to deliver basic skills training and professional courses for adults. Awaaz Learning Centre is now a well-known educational centre in north Manchester. The Learning Centre is based in a densely populated urban area with a variety of adult educational, social and cultural needs. We are equally accessible to all clients regardless of race, gender, class, religion or disability.

Our aim is to help and support adult learners to achieve their goals by:

What’s on offer
The Centre provides courses in English and maths for adults and ESOL in citizenship. We also provide a range of ICT, business management catering and restaurant services and health and social care courses. The Centre also offers one-day courses in food and hygiene, first aid and hair and beauty.

The Centre is committed to widening participation and lifelong learning, ensuring to continue and offer flexible courses tailored to meet individual needs. The friendly and approachable staff have the expertise and experience to support students to learn effectively and realise their ambitions.

Placement opportunities
The Centre has good working relationship with the business community and organise placements for teachers, catering staff and students who want to work in the hospitality industry.

The centre is accredited with Edexcel, OCR, City & Guilds, EDI, Institute of Leadership and Management, Organisation for Travel Tourism and Hospitality Management, Lanthra Award, Royal Institute of Public Health and the British Community Society.
