Course Description
The Level 2 Certificate for Airline & Airport Operations is at GCSE/Level 2 standard and is ideal for anyone who wants to find out about the Airline industry and working as Cabin Crew. The subjects covered focus on different aspects of Airline Cabin Crew work and health, safety and security issues in the industry. Subjects covered include: Contribute to Aviation Security; Contribute to the Health & Safety of Airline Passengers; Demonstrate an understanding of the airport arrival process; Maintain effective team working & communications in the airline industry; Promote effective customer care in the airline industry; Understand the airline industry and the role of cabin crew. You may be required to continue to study Maths, English or IT as part of your course. Successful completion can lead to employment at an airport or for an airline. Alternatively you can progress on to the BTEC National Diploma in Travel and Tourism or BTEC National Certificate in Airline and Airport Operations
