The cluster leader explores ways of integrating computer-aided design and manufacture with traditional making skills, with the aim of developing contemporary craft processes for 21st-century design practice; cluster research fellows have a variety of specialist skills in ceramics, metalwork, plaster and mixed media and work on their own practical projects, as well as collaborating with organisationslike Hidden Art Cornwall.
