Course Description
This course will examines the tax planning areas of current interest, drawing out the practical advice that can be offered to clients to make the best use of the current tax regime. The detailed content will be determined by the latest tax developments in the run up to the date of the course, but the course will cover the following topic areas, owner managed businesses, looking to the future, incorporating effectively, disincorporation with the minimum of fuss and tax, extracting profits form an owner managed company, the current thinking, tax efficient benefits in kind, income shifting and how to deal with queries from HMRC, planning for CGT under the new regime, protecting entrepreneurs relief other CGT points, pension provision in the owner managed company, corporation tax issues in the smaller company and any other key tax planning issues. The course includes 3 hours of Continuing Professional Development.
