Entry Requirements
Applicants need to have gained a first class or upper second honours degree in an appropriate subject, e.g. physics, astronomy, mathematics. Direct applicants for a PhD (i.e.those seeking admission, without seeking an MPhil first) should normally hold a Masters degree, with a research dissertation & training closely related to the proposed PhD topic.
