Course Description
A particular area of interest is the birth of stars: the theoretical study of stars makes use of hydrodynamic & magnetohydrodynamic simulations & explores the hidden non-thermal, relativistic universe, via particle astrophysics channels, ultra high-density cosmic rays, as well as gamma rays & neutrons. The research group is involved with research projects in Namibia, Arizona & the Auger Observatory in Argentina.
Course Fees
Fees for 2008/09: £3240, except for MBA: £16500 & Business School MSc/MAs, which vary between £3240-7500. These fees are provisional, please check details when making your application. For further information, regarding fees or funding, please contact the provider. Self-supporting students may pay in two instalments - 50% being payable upon registration & the second by direct debit, from a UK Bank five months after the course start date.

Entry Requirements
Good honours degree or equivalent in Physics or a related subject. Oversees students whose first language is not English, generally require TOEFL 550(220 computer based)/IELTS 6.0 -7.0 scores. Further information can be obtained from the provider.
