Course Description
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is one of the largest professional accounting bodies in the UK. This course provides tuition to enable you to sit all papers in ACCA Parts 1, 2 and 3, full-time or part-time. The course is comprised of Year 1: Four papers may be attempted; Papers 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 2.1.Year 2: Five papers may be attempted, whilst Paper 2.2 will be for the December examinations and the remainder in June. In Year 3: Five papers may be attempted: Papers 3.1 and 3.2 are available for the December examinations. Remaining papers will be taken in June. On successful completion of the final papers, students may apply for affiliate status with ACCA, whilst progression to full membership requires satisfying practice requirements. In addition there will be an opportunity to improve on professional examiniations by augmentation to a Masters. Responsibility for timely entry to the ACCA examinations rests with the applicant.
Course Fees
Part-time: Papers 1.1 and 1.2 - £220 each. Paper 1.3 - £200. Papers 2.1-2.6 - £220 each. Paper 2.2 also available for December exams. Papers 3.1-3.7 - £260 each for June exams. Papers 3.1 and 3.4 - £220 each for December exams.
Assessment method
There are less than 40 students in each class and teaching is via lectures, workshops and tutorials, with comper-based learning packages available to support scheduled classes. Mock examinations are held for all papers.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have five or six papers from ACCA parts 1 and 2 examinations. Applicants, with a minimum age of 18, must satisfy the entry requirements and bcome a registered student of the ACCA. Minimum requirements for the University are as follows: Hold 5 GCSE passes or equivalent, two of which must be at A2 level, join at subsequent points of the course, provided the requisite prior ACCA exams have been attained and for International students, an English Language qualification or previous ACCA exam success is required.
