In this course, students will learn the basics of Asian dressmaking, learning to design, pattern and sew traditional Asian wear or their choice of garment. They will learn how to use a sewing machine and develop good skills to independently create their own styles such as Salwar Kameez, Sari blouses or garments of their choice depending on their level of expertise and skills learned.
Students must be working towards or at level 1 literacy. They should have a professional manner and be keen to work in the Fashion industry.
