This course is the vocational equivalent of AS level Textiles and consists of one mandatory unit: Visual Recording in Art and Design, and two optional units from a choice of five: Ideas and Concepts in Art and Design; Contextual Investigations; Printed Textiles; 3D Sculptural Textiles; or Fabric Manipulation. On successful completion they can progress to BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma (Textiles).
Participants need 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*-C including Art at grade B and English at grade C.
