This course offers a creative and comprehensive introduction to a range of art and design activities, allowing you to develop your skills and identify directions for further stufy and career progression. Equivalent to two A levels, this course is designed for students who want to study art and design, rather than undertake AS/A2 study. It is also suited to mature students with limited art and design experience. Offering the dedicated facilities of a specialist university-level art and design environment, you will be supported by experienced artists, designers and teachers. you will benefit from studios and facilities, including photographic darkrooms, editing suites, computing studios, print equipment and 3D design workshops. A programme of lectures, seminars and visits to galleries and museums will support your practical studies.
Minimum age 16 by 31 December of year of entry; Four GCE/GCSE passes at Grade C or above, including GCSE English or Key Skills Communication Level 2 or equivalent.
