This course will cover: observational drawing, working through the design cycle, exploring the principles of form, exploring and using materials technology method, finishes and products, perspective and isometric drawing, and orthographic projections. After completing this course students will progress onto to a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Spatial Design.
Students must have evidence of a Level 2 Art and Design qualification which may include: a BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design; a minimum of four GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
