Course Description
This course has a structured framework, creating a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their creative skills in a wide variety of media. This includes: drawing, painting, mixed media, textiles, sculpture (clay and plaster), printmaking (lino, silk screen and etching) and art history. It allows them to build a strong portfolio with which to apply to BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design and degree courses such as Fine Art, fashion or Textiles, Graphic Design, Film and Video and Architecture.

Entry Requirements
Students must be enthusiastic and committed, with a good artwork portfolio preferably with 5 GCSEs at grade A to C, including Art.
