Course Description
This course will introduce students to a range of 2D and 3D visual design skills. Using design research and observational drawing as a starting point you will learn and develop a broad range of visual design methods, practical techniques and skills to produce creative design work in the areas of: Surface Textile Design; Graphic Design; Constructed Textile Design; Product Design; Fashion Accessories and Jewellery; Architectural and Spatial Design.
Entry Requirements
Entry onto the course is by interview. Candidates will need to bring with you some examples of their work that they would like to talk about, a reference from school or college and their National Record of Achievement. At interview they should demonstrate potential to benefit from this course. Ideally they will have three GCSEs.
