Course Description
This course introduces theoretical, practical and experiential components of work in art therapy, with some reference to dramatherapy and dance movement therapy, giving an understanding of clinical potential. You engage with the arts-making process during workshop and studio practice giving an ability to reflect on the self and the dynamic of the group, as well as the ability to situate learning in a personal and career context.
Entry Requirements
You must normally be over 21 years of age and have some training, preferably at HND or above or experience, paid or voluntary, in arts healthcare, social work, education or arts education, and have demonstrated some engagement with arts-making in art, drama or dance/movement.
Venue Description
Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places. Guidance and advice may be available for all aspects of student life. Facilities/Support are available for students with hearing impairment. Facilities/Support are available for students with visual impairment.
