Course Description
The research ethos is tripartite: objects, histories and theories. A common strength in our research is the fundamental importance we attach to the examination of the material object, to the archival work which underpins this, and, where appropriate, to the dissemination of such scholarship via curated exhibitions. Staff specialisms include: gender, sexuality and the body; 18th and 19th century Irish art; surrealism and photography; British landscape and its imagery; 17th and 18th century; art and travel (especially Italian); visual culture of the French Revolution; and drawing and modern culture.

A good UK Bachelors or Masters Degree or international equivalent.
