Course Description
The MA is structured to take advantage of modules run on the diploma, in order to create a streamlined course that can be tailored to your individual needs. It is ideal for overseas students looking for a UK Master's qualification, or for students looking to improve on their portfolio in anticipation of a direct examination with the Architects Registration Board. Modules on offer include: Cultural context; contemporary urban design; theoretical design; design and communication; architectural theory; negotiated module 1 and 2; context and theory; architectural thesis design; and negotiated thesis project work.

Assessment method
Most modules are assessed by coursework which will require you to take part in workshops, seminars and studio presentations. The Dissertation or main porject provides a third of the marks.

Entry Requirements
A 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent qualification (for example, GPA 3.0) in a relevant subject; post Graduate Diploma in architecture, RIBA Part II or equivalent; successful portfolio based interview; GCSE grade C English Language; IELTS: overall score of 6.0, or equivalent.
