Year 1: Compulsory modules: design and process; historical and contextual studies; introduction to processes; visual studies; 2 electives from: conservation and restoration studies; computer-aided 3-dimensional visualising; computer applications: form and decoration; computer based design studies; communication studies; design for reproduction and print; digital image manipulation; environmental ceramics; environmental issues in art and design; a European language; general introduction to 3-dimensional studies; history of glass painting; model-making; photography for publication; printmaking, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional applications; time-based media. Year 2: Compulsory modules: historical and contextual studies; kiln processes; professional studies for artists and designers; project; visual studies; 2 electives from range above. Year 3: Compulsory modules: dissertation; external major project; personal major project; project seminar; 2 electives from range above.
