Course Description
The School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology (SACE) is one of the major centres in Britain for the study of the ancient world. The international quality of school research was confirmed by the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (Archaeology 5, Classics 4). All research degree students are inititally registered for the MPhil degree and students wishing to continue for PhD study transfer their registration to PhD after they have completed at least one year (second year if part-time) if progress has been satisfactory. There are currently around 50 MPhil/PhD students in totoal in the school.

Venue Description
