Course Description
The vibrant research environment within the Department covers earliest prehistory through to the post-medieval period, and running through these are thematic interests in landscape and wetland archaeology, material culture studies and social dynamics. There are postgraduate opportunities in all of our research areas. Postgraduate students have worked, or are working, in all the fields pursued by members of staff. Applications for both full-time and part-time study are welcomed. There is an active programme of research seminars, with weekly talks given by visiting speakers, staff and postgraduates.

Assessed by thesis & examination.

Entry Requirements
Candidates should obtain a first degree with at least second class honours or its equivalent. in addition, if first language is not English, candidates will be required to submit the evidence of proficiency of English.

Venue Description
Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places. Guidance and advice may be available for all aspects of student life. Facilities/Support are available for students with hearing impairment.
