This MA is designed for students who wish to develop their knowledge of the discipline through selecting their own chronological, geographic and thematic specialisations from around 17 specialist modules offered, and through writing a substantial dissertation. It is also designed to enable students to develop key specialist skills in technical options.

Entry Requirements
First or good second class Honours degree or equivalent in Archaeology or other relevant fields. Students with little or no background in archaeological theory are required to take a module in this subject.
