Year 2: Compulsory: instrumental analysis; physics, chemistry and materials science; options from: approaches to site assessment; geophysical prospecting; early prehistory; Roman Britain; the archaeology of Northern Europe 500-1100; later prehistory of Eurasia; South Asian archaeology; Aegean Bronze Age; conservation and technology; economic archaeology. Year 3: Sandwich year. Year 4: Compulsory: individual project; options from: theoretical archaeology; politics and archaeology; palaeoecology; archaeometallurgy; biomolecular archaeology; human osteoarchaeology; dating; archaeology of urbanisation; Northern Isles; textiles; funerary archaeology; forensic archaeology; lithics and ceramics.
