Course Description
This course is designed to train learners to industry standard craft level in many aspects of arboriculture. It is particularly suited to those wishing to develop a career as a climbing arborist. Typical units studied on the course cover machinery use and maintenance, weeds, pests and diseases, tree management principles, climbing and ground person skills, plant sciences, woodland management and working practices.
Course Fees
£900; £55 materials and enrolment fee; £80 exam fee
Assessment method
Students are assessed through formal assessment of learner competence and a short written test for each unit studied.
Entry Requirements
Students should have Level 2 in English or other appropriate industry experience.
