This course covers the following topics: safe and effective working; scientific principles; further health and safety and electrical principles; electrical principles practical assessment; installation theory and techniques; practical installation assessment. Students will also complete functional skills in communication, ICT and numerical skills, pertaining to their entry level and dependent on their GCSE grades.
Students must be in paid employment of at least 16 hours a week.
