Hospitality and catering covers work in restaurants, hotels, cafés, pubs, as well as caterers who supply businesses, schools, colleges, hospitals and other large organisations with food and drink. This is very varied area for Apprenticeships. If you are interested in cookery, you could train as a chef and work anywhere from fine dining to chain restaurants and gastro-pubs. Alternatively you could work ‘front of house’, serving customers as a waiter or providing drinks services. For the hospitality side of things, you could work in a hotel reception; learn to run a hostel or B&B; or work in housekeeping.
