This course is designed for qualified occupational therapists whose working experience may be limited; it also suits occupational therapists who have had a gap in their professional working life and wish to return to practice; the course is: relevant to occupational therapists both in the UK and internationally; modular and builds on practice as an occupational therapist; designed so students can study alongside therapists from other disciplines and from a variety of countries; students learn to evaluate their practice critically through an evidence-based approach; there are also opportunities for them to explore their own professional development or interest; all modules have a focus on the students' roles as occupational therapists and students are encouraged to apply their learning to the context in which they work or could work.
