Course Description
This course is for anyone interested in developing the current practice of using theatre and drama in community and education settings. Previous students have included theatre education officers, drama or dance teachers, community outreach arts workers, drama workshop leaders, other arts and education workers, and graduates of other programmes at Central. The course is specifically designed to support your current practice at work, or your particular field of interest in the developing landscape of applied theatre in the UK. Your learning will be guided by tuition from professional specialists involved in theatre in a variety of community settings as well as the professional experience of Central's renowned applied theatre and drama education tutors. Based in London, the course can offer you an extensive choice of placement opportunities selected from the city's wide array of innovative professional companies.

Assessment method
Each unit involves a written and/or practical assessment. MA platform entails submission of a dissertation. Students who amass only 120 credits will be awarded the PGDip.
Entry Requirements
Degree in a relevant subject and/or have two years' relevant professional experience. Applicants will be interviewed. In appropriate circumstances applicants can undergo a distance interview procedure.
