Year 1: Theory of sound; engineering mathematics 1; electrical theory; studio recording techniques 1; engineering applications; computer music systems. Year 2: Engineering mathematics 2; analogue electronics; computer music production; live sound reinforcement; computer sound synthesis; studio recording techniques 2. Year 3: Recording studio design and acoustics; sound recording project; professional studies; design project; digital signal processing; sound for picture.

There is not a great structure to this course. The learning environment is not the best. The lectures are great. The library is available for use 24 hours Monday to Sunday. The outcome has been really great. It has made a big differenc...more
