Course Description
This course will include planning and carrying out scientific Investigations and two from medical physics, the healthy body or controlling chemical processes plus three from the role of the pathology service, the actions and development of medicines, colour chemistry, ecology, conservation and recycling, physics of performance effects and sports science.
Course Fees
Free for students those under 19 years old and for students over 19 years old appearing Level 2 course for the first time; Students for over 19 years old and in receipt of means-tested benefits their tuition fees are either free or reduced. They will be required to pay a registration fee of £20, unless they are an asylum seeker or refugee not in the receipt of benefits.
Entry Requirements
Students should have 5 GCSE subjects at grade C or above, including science and mathematics plus at least a grade D in English (students must be prepared to retake) or BTEC First Diploma at Merit or Distinction plus GCSE Maths grade C or above.
