Course Description
This course aims to provide trained personnel for the poultry industry and in doing so contribute to solving the problem of skills shortage in the industry worldwide. Successful students will be able to support the poultry related industries (for example, animal feed and pharmaceutical) by applying their skills and knowledge. Students will achieve an all-round knowledge of the poultry industry.

Assessment method
Each module is assessed using a combination of coursework and end of module written examinations. Coursework assessment typically takes the form of essays, case studies, seminar presentations, reports and reviews. Each module is available for a defined period (e.g. normally during one or two terms of the academic year). During the time when modules are 'live' students are required to organise their study to meet submission deadlines for assessments.
Entry Requirements
The normal minimum requirement is an honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject. Candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience will be considered for the course on a case by case basis. The course is taught and assessed in English and students for whom this is not their first language must have achieved a minimum of IELTIS 6.0 (or equivalent demonstration of their English language ability).
