Course Description
This scheme is run jointly by the Institute for Social and Economic Research and the Department of Economics. It provides advanced training in contemporary theory, in current issues in applied economics, and in the techniques of data analysis, including analysis of longitudinal or panel data. It provides skills necessary to analyse economic issues using appropriate data, and equips students for successful careers as professional economists in universities, government, commerce and industry.

Assessment is by coursework and a dissertation.
Entry Requirements
Good first degree or equivalent relevant subject area; IETLS 6.5 or equivalent for those whose 1st language is not English.
