Students experience a variety of specialisms within applied art and design, exploring and developing 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional work through drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics and surface manipulation; workshops in printmaking, photography and computing; professional practice and work-based learning; contextual studies; throughout the course a strong emphasis is placed on the applied nature of the subject; some parts of the learning therefore, take place outside the College in studios, galleries and art related businesses.
