Course Description
This course aims to provide a broad based knowledge and understanding in art and design and the cultural, social and historical context in which it exists. In this course participants will study the following units: fine art media skills skills, Lens-based media, Life Drawing, art in context and contemporary art in context. This course allows them to explore art using a wide range of media.
Assessment method
Participants will be assessed through assignments, group critiques and coursework.
Entry Requirements
Participants must have one of the following qualifications Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design, or Advanced Vocational A-level, or GCE A-level pass in an Art and Design related subject, or Access Course Certificate in Art and Design.
