The international master's course is equivalent to a pre-master's graduate diploma (which covers the subjects taught within the postgraduate diploma in actuarial science), followed by the MSc in applied actuarial science; it is aimed at international students with a good 1st degree (1st or upper 2nd class degree) in mathematics, statistics or economics (although other subjects with a high mathematical content are acceptable), who wishes to gain exemptions from subjects in the core technical, core applications and specialist technical stages of the UK actuarial profession's examinations.
Research groups: Genetics and insurance risks; economic capital and financial risk management.
