This course is suitable for previously qualified gas operatives or anyone in the process of obtaining relevant ACS gas qualification. Topics include: what components make up an electronic combustion analyser; how to obtain readings from gas appliances using an electronic combustion analyser; what are CO, CO2, O2 and ratio; how to calculate ratio; what figures should be obtained from a satisfactory appliance. Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will receive a BPEC CPA1 domestic natural gas certificate under the ACS gas scheme.
Participants should hold a current core domestic gas safety qualification (CCN1) or be in the process of working towards it.
