Course Description
This course has been designed to encompass the broad range of activities and disciplines which are covered in the course title. The course is strongly aimed for postgraduates or professionals who want to develop a specific area of their practice within an academic and professional context. The course supports the student's development of skills and techniques, and addresses the practical, critical and theoretical issues within their discipline. Study within the programme enables a student to expand their ideas and the direction their study takes. Whilst the programme sits within a clearly defined study structure, the subject and approach adopted is directed by the student in collaboration with staff. This provides the opportunity for tailored and pertinent investigation of contemporary practice. This strong emphasis on personal exploration provides the individual with the maximum flexibility in terms of a chosen area of study, underpinned by appropriate staff support and guidance.
