This course has been developed in consultation with the RCVS; and consists of practical work-placements within approved veterinary practices, combined with blocks in college; during the course students are in college for 18 weeks and out in practice for 29 weeks; topics include: anatomy and physiology; essential nursing skills; client relations; information technology; pharmacology; practice operations; infection control; in addition students are also scheduled to undertake practical theatre duties in our purpose built operating suite and you have an opportunity to work with our wide range of small animals and reptiles in the animal care unit.
