Course description:
This course is suitable for those participants who may already be working within the industry but have no formal qualifications, it focuses on examining the science and practice of animal conservation and related biodiversity. It covers the following contents: animal science, experimental design and analysis, principles and practices of animal husbandry, principles of management, principles of conservation, practical conservation and management, breeding management and genetics, comparative anatomy adaptation and evolution, global biodiversity and conservation issues and exotic species management. Successful participants can progress onto the BSc (Hons) Animal Conservation and Biodiversity programme.
