This course is aimed at those with a keen interest in the animal care industry, who wish to develop their knowledge and skills with a variety of animals from domestic pets to farm animals, reptiles and birds. The course covers three core units: Work related experience in animal care; Animal care industry and organisations and Animal accommodation, handling and care and three optional units.
Students must possess 3 GCSEs at grade E or above in appropriate subjects.
