This Master's degree in Ancient and Medieval Warfare offers students the opportunity to study a range of regions, periods and specialist topics in detail; the programme of study is based on Cardiff's particular teaching and research expertise in warfare studies; the scheme offers a flexible programme designed to provide a thorough grounding in research skills and methods, and the opportunity to explore an area of independent research suitable for the needs and interests of individual students; it is designed to meet the needs of both those who wish to develop their understanding of Ancient and Medieval Warfare through a self-contained year of further study, and of those who wish to deepen and extend their skills in preparation for research at doctoral level.
