Ancient History gives students the opportunity to study the main issues of Greek and Roman history, society and political life, and to explore the ways in which Greeks and Romans thought about their own past; Archaeology allows students to develop an in-depth knowledge about a range of periods and places, as well as the broad variety of techniques and skills that archaeologists use to engage with the past; the 3rd year of the course is spent abroad.
