Course Description
This course is designed to give students the practical skills in sports turf to enable them to get a job in the sports turf or amenity industry. The course is a balance of theory and practical work and will allow a student to progress onto the National Diploma Sports turf or NVQ level 3. There are a whole range of careers open to the successful applicant both in the united kingdom and abroad. These jobs range from being a golf course greenkeeper to a grounds man at a top football club, cricket club, school or for a local authority parks department.
